Skylander Review

Well the Skylander toy came out last Christmas and proved to be very popular among the boys and girls for a certain age. However my 8 (he will be on 25th Aug) wasn't really that interested in it at the time. In June 2012 he received a good school report so this was his well done prize.

I was very impressed with the assistance that I received at the Toys R Us in Kirkcaldy where I purchased this and thought it would very hard to set up etc but it was very easy. The shop assistant explained how the whole operation works, where you can buy accessories etc 

My son now has 7 different figures and plays this with either his friends, sister (she is 3.5) or by himself. My son thinks the game is hard but as I explained to him the more he plays it the easier it will become. What I like about it is the characters may run out of energy but all you do is replace them with another one on the portal. 

I would recommend this to everyone who has a child of 7+ due to the fact that you can add to the collection by either purchasing single figures or packs of figures to build up the collection
